If the arm of your glasses is detached from the hinge. The hinge will be welded either by laser welding or spot welding. Most repairs are typically done with a 3 hour time window. However some metal alloys may require additional time because the material must be soaked and prepared before attempting the welding process. Premature welding attempts without proper preparation will be unsuccessful.
